Need a PNG of a different size?

Create a valid PNG file of any exact size, byte for byte, right in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and you can generate as many as you like.

  • Perfect for upload limits: 9.99 MB, 10 MB and 10.01 MB in seconds.
  • Up to 20 copies at once, bundled in one ZIP.

About the format

What is a PNG file?

PNG (Portable Network Graphics) appeared in 1996 as a patent-free replacement for GIF. It is lossless, supports an alpha channel for transparency and allows 1 to 16 bits per channel.

Because it is lossless, PNG suits screenshots, icons, logos and interface assets. Photos are usually much larger as PNG than as JPG or WebP.

FAQ

PNG files: common questions

Which files are transparent?

The 512 × 512 icon and the transparent landscape both have an alpha channel. The icon also includes a gradient from opaque to fully transparent for testing partial alpha.

Why is the 4K PNG so much larger than the 4K JPG?

PNG is lossless, so it keeps every pixel exactly. JPG discards detail you are unlikely to notice, which makes photos much smaller.

Can I use these images in commercial projects?

Yes. Every image here is free for any use, including commercial testing, demos and tutorials. No attribution is required.

Can I download the same image more than once?

Yes, as many times as you like. There is no sign-up, no daily limit and no waiting timer. Direct links also work in scripts, CI jobs and automated tests.
